Mugiyo Hillary, the founder of Green Earth Consultants, is a seasoned Food System Specialist with robust early warning capabilities developed over 15 years in agricultural risk management, resilience programming, and remote sensing applications. He is a multi-award-winning authority, recognised by Waternet and as UKZN's Best PhD Student, who provides counsel to regional organisations including COMESA, the International Water Management Institute (IWMI), FAO, and AfCFTA on climate-smart agriculture, while also directing national agriculture production forecasts and insurance-related loss assessments in Zimbabwe. Hillary integrates academic distinction with current postdoctoral research at the University of Zimbabwe, in partnership with the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) and the Sustainable and Healthy Food Systems - Southern Africa (SHEFS-SA) consortium, which aims to facilitate the transformation of Southern African food systems and communities into healthy and climate-resilient entities. His efforts guarantee that GreenEarth Consultants delivers innovative, research-driven solutions for food security, water management, and climate resilience
